Within the scope of its contract with the government of Chad, Tuleu Consulting Company sent 6 persons from SIMATRAC, 2 persons from PNSA along with 2 of its technicians and its project manager in Accra, Ghana to follow a John Deere training, from May 4th to the 8th.
The goal of this training was to acquire the necessary knowledge to operate, diagnose and maintain the fleet of 500 tractors composed of 5000 series from India and 6D series from Mexico. This training was not only theoretical but also practical; each concept that was studied in class was afterwards practiced on a tractor. The last day of the training was dedicated to driving and working in the field: plowing and harrowing.
Tuleu Consulting Company is proud to be the partner of the National Food and Security Program whose goal is to mechanize the agricultural industry in order to access food sovereignty. Agriculture is an important marker of Chad’s sustainability; at least 80% of Chad’s population relies on subsistence farming and livestock raising for its livelihood, according to a study conducted by KPMG.
Tuleu Consulting Company is confident that the 8 technicians that attended this training will go home stronger and will be able to pass on the knowledge acquired.
